Structure

It is a monologue specific acting competition.

The competition will consist of three rounds.

There will be only one round for the competition.

Pre-Eliminations:

Participants must send a pre-recorded video of a monologue.

The time duration of the monologue should be 1 to 2 minutes.

Eliminations:

This round will be conducted live with the virtual presence of judges an audiences.

Participants will have to prepare an original monologue for this round.

The time duration of the monologue should be 1 to 2 minutes.

Finals:

Shortlisted participants will be notified before the final event.

Each finalist will be randomly assigned two topics, out of which participants choose either one for their original monologue

This round will be conducted live with the virtual presence of judges and audiences.

Participants will have to prepare an original monologue for this round.

The time duration of the monologue should be 3 to 4 minutes.

Rules

Participation is open to all.

Props, with the exception of hazardous and dangerous materials, are allowed.

Any practice of lip sync will lead to disqualification.

Obscene, offensive, vulgar and/or distasteful content is not allowed.

Unoriginal, plagiarized or copied monologues will receive negative marking or will be disqualified depending on the discretion of the judges.

Editing the video with filters, effects, transitions, cut-scenes and other methods is not allowed.
